The FIX
With the introduction of BIOS 0280 we lost the ability to run the reference clock ratio of 1.25% because of an issue of run time turbo being enabled. I am sure many reviewers were stumped on this one but the fix is pretty easy and you can test the ratio once again.
The down side is we lost multiples above 33 with this interim fix.
Go into power and turn off Dynamic Power Technology then go back to the Performance/Processor Overrides and turn it back on, leave the settings as shown and you will have access to the just the 33x multiple. If you enable turbo you will be back at the failed boot. If you touch other settings you will be stuck at 15x multiple thinking you are at some higher multiple.
